What’s covered in these terms

We know it’s tempting to skip these Terms of Service, but it’s important to establish what you can expect from us as you use Klanav services, and what we expect from you. These Terms of Service reflect the way Klanav’s business works, the laws that apply to our company, and certain things we’ve always believed to be true. As a result, these Terms of Service help define Klanav’s relationship with you as you interact with our services.

These terms include the following topic headings:

  • What you can expect from us, which describes how we provide and develop our services
  • What we expect from you, which establishes certain rules for using our services
  • Content in Klanav services, which describes the intellectual property rights to the content you find in our services — whether that content belongs to you, Klanav, or others
  • In case of problems or disagreements, which describes other legal rights you have, and what to expect in case someone violates these terms

Content and Activities:

  • All services provided by Klanav may only be used for lawful purposes.
  • Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material that violates the applicable laws of is prohibited.
  • Quarantine or delete malicious files and code to prevent their spread.
  • The customer agrees to indemnify and release Klanav from any responsibility for any claims resulting from the use of services that damage the customer or other parties.

When this Terms and Conditions applies

  • Zero Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy: Spamming, or sending unsolicited emails, from Klanav's servers or using email addresses or domains hosted on Klanav's servers as references is STRICTLY prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in your account being unilaterally terminated by Klanav.
  • System Resource Abuse: Any attempt to damage or harm Klanav's servers or customers is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: using programs that consume excessive CPU time (e.g., crypto-mining); using email services, mail forwarding capabilities, or autoresponders for other than the customer's own account; reselling or leasing or using (free) disk space without a proper reseller agreement; using the server for file backups unrelated to the account's website. The operation of crypto-mining or bad bots on Klanav's servers will result in immediate termination of service.
  • Bill Payment: Customers are required to pay each bill before or on the due date. Account suspension will be applied to bills that are not paid 4 days after the due date (H+4). For cloud hosting customers, the website account will be deleted from the server within 1 month (H+30) if the bill is still not paid in full. For cloud server customers, the server will be deleted within 14 days after the due day (H+14) and the bill has not been paid in full. Klanav is not responsible for any data loss that occurs from this deleted website or server. Before the website or cloud server account is reactivated, all bills must be paid in full first.
  • Addon Service: The above bill payment terms also apply to all add-on services such as Static IP, KlanavGuard Anti-Malware, Custom Port Open Request, and so on – for those who are not paid according to the terms, the hosting account will be suspended, even if the hosting account bill has been paid, but the add-on has not been paid.

Understanding these terms is important because, by accessing or using our services, you’re agreeing to these terms.

Besides these terms, we also publish a Privacy Policy. Although it’s not part of these terms, we encourage you to read it to better understand how you can update, manage, export, and delete your information.

If you’re under the age required to manage your own Klanav Account, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use a Klanav Account. Please have your parent or legal guardian read these terms with you.

If you’re a parent or legal guardian, and you allow your child to use the services, then these terms apply to you and you’re responsible for your child’s activity on the services.
